Yes I finally can say I am in remission(hopefully)After 5years of horror am down to 10mg of prednisone. I hope I can commplete and be rid of the prednisone it's been a long hard very slow process. I hope my body will be ok without the prednisone. I am still very stiff when i sit to long and my muscles are very damaged from the years on prednisone. My rheumatologist has me on Neurontin for my pain. I don't know how long you have had PMR or how long you where on prednisone. Let me know if i can help you any way. Good Luck
