I couldn't tell you if it could turn into something more serious, however, your repeated bouts of this may suggest you have a high acidic level in your body which is great for the proliferation of bacteria and cancer cells. They cannot thrive in an alkaline environment. My suggestion, which I learned in the book, "The Cancer Battle Plan", is to ONLY drink water with lemon juice, preferably organic lemon. You prepare one gallon of water, with the juice of one lemon and drink through out the day as your only beverage. Coffee and other beverages such as pastuerized juices cause the body to become acidic. Although lemon juice is an acid, it becomes alkaline in the body upon consumption. It must be fresh, not pastuerized or process, otherwise, it will become an acid. Try this, it won't cost you hardly anything and in time you may see quite a difference.
