Well, I learn something new every day. All I can say is that hubby has not taken his allopurinol for over a year.So perhaps he should have his uric acid level tested. I did not know it could attack your ear! You are right about people being kind when you have foot trouble, I had surgery on both feet and am using a cane & walking very slowly, and encountering much kindness.
