I know this is going to sound entirely, weird, but I just read in last week's newspaper an article by Dr.Gott. A woman wrote in to tell her way of treating cold/canker sores. Now don't laugh, but she used Preparation H. She said it reduced the swelling and made the canker/cold sore disappear quickly. Dr. Gott said that he did NOT see any harm in the remedy. I, myself, would want to limit it to outer cold sore and not in my mouth. Good Luck, Denise
