Good luck with the injections. I had a very bad experience with my third one. Since the first two caudal (going through the tailbone) had not helped the doctor went from the right side to the left and in doing so let out spinal fluid, which was not a great problem, but in trying to get scar tissue off the sciatica nerve damaged it even worse and I was unable to walk on my leg and in excruciating pain. They put me on narcotics every 6 hours and Neurontin. I t has been over a year and am just now doing better from PT, large doses of Neurontin, the Cox Distraction table, exercise program. It is still very painful and hard to do any of the things I want to. So PLEASE talk to people who have had this patictular doctor do the injections. I had mine at what I thought was a reputable pain control center in a teaching hospital. I know people who the epidurals have helped, so wish you the best. Lou
