I read your letter and can sympathize with you. I had had Iritis, Uveitis for the past 32 years and still have my sight. My problem is that I have an arthritic disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. The eye problem goes along with this illness and I have a marker that they call HLA-B27 iritis. There is no cure and I have had to have injections of the cortisone in the eye when it is very affected. If your eye gets red and light hurts your eye, get to the opthamologist immediately. I think that is why I still have my sight. There is no cure now, but we can hope. Anna
