I have been suffering from IBS for the past 15 years.Now its more or less under control. There is nothing to despair about.You can control IBS through controlled intake of food.You have to definetely reduce taking Oily,chilli and non vegitarian food.avoid taking food from outside.Worrying about this disease and tension in day to day life is the single most important factor in aggravating this disease.This is more connected with psychological than anything else
