I was also prescribed this; I went from 1 to 3 a day over a period of time. I dont really know if it helps my pain, but I experienced the same effects that you have....I couldnt handle 3 a day so I am taking 1 at night....I know dilantin which is used for seizures can damage your liver over a period of time so I am very leery of taking this drug. I plan to discuss this with my doctor on my next visit.
