I am 31 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago. I experienced the same problem with facial hair. My doctor recommended taking birth control, but I didn't want to ruin any chances of having a baby, so I refused to take it. He prescribed Alacitin and said I would have to take it pretty much the rest of my life to control the facial hair problem. I also took Glucophage, which is a medicine prescribed mainly for diabetics. The speciallist didn't want to give it to me, but I took adequate medical journal information that I received from my mother, who is a RN, showing results in primary studies. It is not recognized by many in the medical field as a proven regimen to help with PCOS, but I told him I wanted to try it any way; after all, what did I have to lose? They say PCOS leads to diabetes if the weight isn't controlled, so he might as well put me on it now. When I finally accepted everything and relaxed and realized I wasnt being punished, 'my miracle' just happened. Good luck and God Bless.
