I have severe Osteoarthritis of both knees. My Orthopedic Surgeon wanted to totally replace my left knee 11 months ago and then replace my right knee in about 4-6 more months. Am trying to put the surgery off as long as possible; hopefully not for another 2-3 years time and I'm already 58. Am not allergic to Glucosimine & Chondroitin with MSN which I take twice per day. I usually get injections once every 3-4 months into the knee which is very beneficial. My best help has come from Celebrex Capsules 1 in A.M. & P.M. My Orthopedic Surgeon will not increase the Celebrex Capsules and that's why I'm also dependent on the Cortizone Injections into the knee as needed. A good Orthopedic Surgeon is well worth your Insurance Company's paying for. When you are ready for the surgery, you'll be able to tell him/her. Keep in mind once the surgery is done on each knee, it can only be repeated once. Try to also exercise as much as possible; if unable to exercise in pain the next best alternative is swimming.God Bless and Good Luck.
