i have suffered from what i thought was an allergy to the sun for 17yrs every time i went in the sun even with a high protection sun cream on (35) i got a red lumpy rash which a day or so later turned into tiny like white heads is the way i would describe them, very sore and awful to look at, this appers on my nose,chin and in and around my ears. now my dr has just retired to which he gave no medication for just said it was acne - my new dr has prescribed a cream 'metronidazole' but he hasnt actually said i have the condition although reading the leaflet in the cream this is what it is prescribed for. are my syptoms similar to anybody else's ..can you let me know and if it is rosacea what can you recomend i use - bearing in mind it only ever flares up when the sun is out...(weird hey) look forward to hearing from anybody who can shed any light on my problem
