Hi Barbara, How long have you been on Prednisone? Since you feel that awful, I wouldn't hesitate to talk to the doctor. I wouldn't think his goal is to taper so fast that you feel that sick! I would wonder what's the point of being on Prednisone to begin with, if the goal is to get off of it even if the symptoms aren't under control. Does your doctor have another medicine in mind?
