I am 50 years old with fibromyalgia, two hernaited discs and costochrondritis. I have had fibro and problems with my ribs since I was about 20 years old. Its no picnic and yes iI am sore in the same spots and have lots of chest pain. I know its scary I always think I am having a heart attack so if its any consolation I know exactly how you feel. Heat is the only thing that works, I live with the heating pad on my chest, you may try ice that helps to whatever works for you. Advil to ease it up a little but I know one thing that is a no no and thats NO lifting at all or pushing and moving things.. Baby it till it subsides. It does ease up but does come back on and off.
