braces for the back wearing it at all times isnt good for your back at all, if u ned a brace you ahould only wear 4 hrs a day ...even in a work place depends on what your job description at one time( OSHA ) was on demand to wear one til they really found out it does more harm then good, im a therapist and to alleviate pain in your back, do some strecthing in the mornings and in the evening, hot and cold pack 15 minute for each and i found that machine massage works wonder for my back injury..have you checked your foot out cuz in the long run your whole spinal colum will be another case for you and trust me if u feel that already for your back imagine it to be permanent..what is wrong with your foot? like i said, lay on ur stomach and elbow bent lifiting your top sde and slowly bend backwards for a minute, go as far as u can go, then relaxs..try different routines
