Unfortunatly there is no way to treat the problems caused by cmv that your daughter has. There are very few situations when treatment is possible. Usually in HIV releated cmv and in young very ill babies with congenital cmv. I have researched cmv for the past three years after our daughter was stillborn because of cmv, and am in touch with alot of other effected as I now run a internet based club and help line for cmv. Tiredness is one of the most common long term problems. Once infected with cmv you have it for life, some people have found that a good nutritional diet and taking vitumins helps to some extent with the tiredness.
