I had restless legs in connection with Fibromyalgia/Myofascial Pain Syndrome. I found that chewing 2-3 Milk of Magnesium tablets twice a day(not the capsules) or some other magnesium source, and ate a banana a day(potassium) and took a calcium supplement 600 twice a day,it improved enormously. I also went to a nearby dept store and bought a set of magnets with various sizes of bands with velcro. I found that they helped enormously at night. I would wrap my calves and my feet esp. The set only costs about $35. I also found that when I was able to sleep better at night, I had less trouble with pain. I'm also discovered that if I was careful about only wearing shoes that felt good-(never heels anymore)that it made a big difference. Are you on a diuretic-a water pill? That can cause the leg pain because of potassium depletion. Ask your doctor what to do in that case. Hope this helps.
