Re. addressing the cause: Many natural health experts believe that eczema and some other skin conditions are external manifestations of internal toxicity. I have clients who have used detoxification programs to address the root cause of eczema with fair to excellent results. I personally believe a general detox program that addresses all of the eliminative organs is best, but in your case a focus on the liver and colon is probably indicated.
