Dyspraxia is a motor planning disorder. It can be used to define motor planning issues of the whole body or specifically related to speech production. Many times, the two go hand-in-hand. I would find a very good Occupational Therapist who is trained in Sensory Integration intervention. OTs trained in this area can look at the child's sensory system and how it effects movement and motor planning. THey can provide direct intervention, but also give suggestions for carry over at home. One very good book which addresses Sensory Integration Disorder (not dyspraxia specifically) is "The Out of Sync Child". You can probably check it out of your local library. Without knowing more, I can't tell if this is the best direction to send you in or not. Good Luck!
