I have suffered with iritis for the last 22 years. I am 45 years old. The last 5 years have been very discouraging with problems with inflammation treated with steriods and then increased pressure. Lately nothing is responding, my eye is uncomfortable all the time and the pressure is hard to keep under control whether the inflammation is treated or not. I'm worried about how much longer my optic nerve can take the increased pressure although my optometrist and opthamologist keep very close accounts. I have had all the blood tests done,everything is negative.
