Doesn't sound to me like it's from the inhalers he used. Both I and my daughter use inhalers for asthma and never had that problem. I suggest he either go back to his doctor and demand that tests be performed on his blood for other things or find a another doctor. You might want to try searching the web. However, he really shouldn't give up the inhaler unless his doctor prescribed a different medication for his illness; it's detramental to his health. Good luck to him! :)
