My uncle had his gallbladder removed a couple of months ago and also was in lots of pain for a long time after. He went back to the doctor and they found that they had slightly severed one of the tendons in his stomach while doing the surgery. They are giving him some kind of shots to heal the tendon, and he's doing much better. Something to check with your doctor about. Good luck!
