Have you tried glucosamine? This is a wonderful product that helps coat the joints and sometimes relieve the symptoms. There really isn't much you can do. Cortizone injections are only temporary and really hurt. There is a direct sales company called Advocare that has a product called Promotion. It is supposed to help things like this. I have CTS in my right wrist and am now having trouble w/ my elbow and shoulder. I'm an Advocare Independent Distributor and am getting ready to try the Promotion. Those are the only things I know of that might help him be able to do the activities he enjoys or needs to do. If I can be of any help in any way please email me. Hope this helps.
