I have been suffering from heat intolerance and excess sweating for 2 years now. The sweating occurs even with little physical activite (such as walking to the shop). I was recently diagnosed with Haemochromatosis which is treated by regular blood letting. About 5 weeks into my initial weekly blood letting treatment I found that my heat intolerance and excessive sweating was significantly reduced and eventually disappeared. However my initial weekly treatments stopped and were only required at 3 monthlty intervals and the heat intolerance and sweating returned after about 5 weeks. My question is what hormone or chemical level in my body causing excess sweating could have been reduced to normal levels by bloodletting? My doctor has checked my Thyroid and adrenal levels and they were normal. Please if anyone has any information or similar experience could you post a reply.
