FLUID DRIPPING FROM EARS?

Michelle

Message 15 of 21 Previous Next

Have you been to an Audiologist? Certified Audiologists specialize in detecting special issues of the ear, including evidence that there IS fluid and can ascertain tinnitus (the ringing in the ears). Audiologists can also diagnose a balance disorder (dizziness) and would be able to tell you what may be going on. I would have imagined that upon your visits to the ENT that the Dr. would have an Aud "in house" to tell you these sort of things, but maybe not. If your ear problems are simply a matter of allergies, then the Audiologist could refer you where your needs could best be met. You'll have to find out, though, if Audiology is covered under your health care plan. Unfortunately, in many cases they are not covered unless it is a medical issue. But I know for certain an Audiologist would be able to give you some of the "missing pieces of the puzzle" for you to help you understand what is going on. Good luck.
