Hello, What about switching to another brand of estrogen, such as Estrace? I've been on this for a few years, and I like it much better than Premarin. I have read that Premarin affects the liver more than other brands of estrogen. You might ask your doctor about trying something other than Premarin. Also, there are estrogen patches that can be worn, so that you can avoid taking a pill. Patches are easier on the liver, but they can be a little annoying in that they may cause itching in the area where they are worn, and they don't stick all that well if it's hot and humid. I had experience with Estraderm, a patch, but I prefer taking my estrogen in a pill form, because of these problems with the patch. Good luck! Mary
