Hi in response to the weight gain from predisone-my son took it from 1-8 for asthma prodblems and gained alot-my 11 yr old is on it for JDMS-and she is starting to gain after 2 weeks bloated-my aunt has rheumetoid arth BAD-for ever it seems and she only takes her predisione ONCE a day 20 mg-and methetrexate once a week-and she has the same problem is you and there is nO solution unfortunatly she has fought this disease for 20+ years and there is ONLY one time she lost all the weight-and my son has lost it to in the same way-no longer taking the steroids- he can do that his asthhma is under control-my aunt cant so she is still on it-there is no fast way-because if your not eating ALOT to gain it-it is just a water like gain-and nothing you can do-my son was 4 and real heavy for his age body wraps-working out etc-may help a bit BUT cause more harm in other ways-excersice as much as able is all-to keep joints flexible as possible but I dont think it is going to get rid of it-it unfortunatly is a side effect you have to accept- FOR YOUR HEALTH-- if there were a way-my aunt would of done it-sorry-
