I too, have Piraformis Syndrome and was about to go into NYC to a doctor who has been doing research/treatment on this condition for 10 years. You might want to do some research on Botox/Myobloc injections. Supposedly, these injections paralyze/relax the muscle in order to stop the spasms which cause the pain. Once the muscle is relaxed, they suggest you go for physical therapy and have the muscles surrounding stretched out while the muscles are relaxed. There is supposedly no side effects which was a definite concern of mine and they have gotten very good results. I was about to go for the injection but the day before I was supposed to go, was when the trajedy in NY happened. If you have any other questions, please feel free to write me. I have tried everything that you tried in treating this condition. At this point, this is where I am going.
