My daughter has had thyroid disease for several years. The problem is that it does not seem to be regulated. She goes from hypo to hyper and her body does not seem to accept synthyroid or a similar drug and she will have to take shots or medicine through the veins. We live in N.C. and will travel anywhere to find help. If you know of a medical center or hospital where she should be evaluated please give us information.
