Hi: I too have been diagnosed with Hypothyroid and have a thyroid goiter. I also have a lump in my throat that I try to swallow or cough up with no results. I have had 3 biopsies on my thyroid, all negative. I share all your symptoms as do many other people I have talked to with the same condition.I always thought I felt tired and rotten cause I was just plain lazy, but thank goodness for a dr. who was on the ball. I have been put on synthroid and it is helping a lot. Just to let you know in case you are told you need a biopsy done...dr.s told me that the chances of cancer are very rare and even if it does come back positive, this type of cancer can be easily operated on with a very high success rate at getting it all in one shot.
