I have the same questions. I'm looking/waiting for information. I've a healthy bladder, but have stones. I want to remove the stones, NOT the gall bladder. Will we have to wait for nanotechnology to do it? I've heard that laser treatment can blast bigger stones, not small ones. I've heard that 2 yrs of some oral pills can dissolve the stones. I've heard that injections can dissolve them too. I've heard that ultra-sound doesn't work to blast the buggers. Endoscopic retrograde cholangio pancreatomy apparently can't get up to the gall bladder because the tube with the camera and tools are too large and can damage or perforate and puncture the duct. Any information would help me greatly. Doctors, it would seem, do not want to give any information away and do not communicate. They like to have it all their way and they like it fast. They do not like questions or anything that takes time and disrupts their schedules. Keep looking for information and make the internet our freedom of information!!! Best wishes, Stephen Bennett
