My husband suffered from gallbladder disease for 4 years before he was properly diagnosed. His gallbladder was removed in February and he is the healthiest he has been in years. Don't give up. The disease sometimes has stones that show up on scans, but sometimes the stones are tiny sand like grains or "sludge". If you don't get the answers you want from one doctor try another one. My husband was not properly diagnosed until his liver became inflamed from the diseased GB. Good Luck!
