I am almost out of my mind. Last October, after 3 months of gas, pain, bloating, chest and back pain, I awoke in the night with unbearable pain in the center of my chest, going through to my back. Went to ER. They did an ultrasound and Cat Scan immediately and found I passed a gall stone. I had an ultrasound done just two months prior and it showed nothing. I began with the same symptoms about two months ago and they got progressively worse until once again, unbearable pain. But this time they didn't run the tests until days after the horrible attack. Had ultrasound, Cat Scan, Gallbladder function - nothing showed up. I'm feeling somewhat better and think I passed another stone which they didn't catch because they waited too long to run the tests. Anybody have same problem? I KNOW my gallbladder acts up in cycles and am looking for others with the same problem and help in convincing my doctor. I've totally changed my diet, but it still keeps happening. Can gallbladder's go into spasms from time to time. HELP.
