Not long after I had my second child I would wake up with back pain in my lower back that almost made me feel like I was still in labor. I would put my fists under my back to help alleviate the pain. Strangely, once I was up and moving around the pain would subside. I was finally diagnosed with pelvic torsion and after one visit to a doctor (M.D.)of physical medicine, and a very simple manipulation, I was amazed that I awoke the next morning pain free.
