I've been suffering from chronic insomnia for the past 2 years. I've gone through a very trying 2 years, I lost my stepdaughter to cancer , 3 dogs and a friend. I know this must have contributed to my problem, but I can't seem to get it under control. I've also noticed that in the last 10 months my hair is falling out - especially when I wash it. . Has anyone experienced this? Is there a connection between sleep deprivation and hair loss? I've seen a doctor, changed my diet ( cut down on dairy, refined sugars & white flour and increased protein - I don't eat meat) tried herbs, sleeping pills, accupuncture, yoga & meditation, and considering a chiropractor. I often feel depressed because I feel there's no hope. Do sleeping clinics work? Is there anyone out there with similar problems and suggestions?
