My children had thrush several times, the doctor had me use gention violet, check the spelling(Gent'shun. It made them cry even thought I had them spit it out as soon as they could onto a news paper that I put in the floor. Finally a pediatric MD said to spray their mouth with Chloraseptic Mouth Spray. It worked as they never had it again. They now have lozenges. It was such a simple thing, I felt so bad for the kids, they loved the spray after the gention violet.
