Now, I'm not a doctor & the heart is pretty complicated -- but my son had "episodes" (as they're called) where his heart would race like yours & his pediatric-cardiologist called it "Super Ventricular Tachacardia" & it's VITAL that you take medication for it - or there is a surgical procedure for it, if you'd rather -- but it can be deadly if not treated!! My son is 11 and is on digoxin daily -- hopefully, maybe, your's is not so serious -- but I'd ask my doctor for a referral to a cariologist if I were you and not take any chances!! Good luck!!
