Catherine, You are not alone. One suggestion is to go to a "teaching" hospital.(a hospital attached to a medical college) They have all the new technology and the new doctors have experts in their field overseeing them. They usually have where you can get treatment based on your income. This is how my lupus got diagnosed ten years ago. I had a doctor who wouldn't give up until he found out what was wrong.
