I'm a 30 year old male.I've just found out that I carry the HLAB27 gene and found out that I have Spondylitis. I was in a car wreck 1 and half years ago. I started going to the doctor because of my lower back and neck pain the X_rays showed that I had fractures in my lower lumbar, Then I had a mri done and it showed the same. My doctors were runing out of things to do annd they sent me to a back surgeion and when he did X-rays he noticed that I had my S1 completely fused together. He sent me to a rumatoligist and that is when I found out that I had the gene. My question is could the wreck progesse the fusing and If so where can I find more information or research?
