Get the Tetanus Shot! Like the first message said, the shots are free at the clinics and there is no shame going there. I am a mom of three and we are now doing pretty good financially but there were times when any extra bills would have thrown us over the edge...your mom is probably worried about everything but I can just imagine her guilt if that foot gets infected, not to mention your pain! She may not know the help that's out there for you...if you are middle class it is sometimes difficult to get help, they think we're well off, but medical bills can put middle class into lower class fast. The local clinics give free shots to all that go there, no matter what your financial status is. Here in California they are called Health Agency Services. Do not put your health in jeopardy, I'm sure your mom means well, but she may have too much on her mind to be thinking straight about this one. Do the research for her, and calmly talk to her about taking you somewhere. At the very least, get the shot! :)
