The doctors instructions was to take FLEET PHOSPHO-SODA. 4 teaspoons with water, the nite before you go in for the exam, and the same dosage 3 hours, the following morning of the exam. At the hospital they will give you a sedative, intravenous, that will 'settle you down'. You will be able to watch the complete procedure on a monitor. It will be a little uncomfortable, because they need to put air in your intestine, in order to get the tube with the camera in.It will not hurt you. Any suspicious polyps will be removed and sent for biopsy. Go in with a positive thought, and you will do fine.
