Kamalah
I wish I could give you an answer. Thing is, I have the same problem, but in my right ankel only. I have been this way since Feb.24th with no signs of it going away or improving. I had a Doopler ultra sound 2 days after I first noticed it to rule out blood clot.In May I went to an orthropedic surgeon who did extensive xrays from spine to foot. Nothing showed. Conclution: the surgeon is telling me not to worry, I am not a short termer. He thinks I may have gotton hurt at one time and there is scar tissue in my ankel that swells. I figure if it was going to kill me, it would have happened by now. I am in no pain, in fact when the swelling is down, like in the morning shortly after raising, it will feel sore, especially on my in step. As the day goes on, and it becomes more and more swollen, the soreness goes away. I remember when this first happened to me I posted on one of the healthboards and received a reply from a women who was experiencing the same symptoms. She advised me that it was her blood pressure medicine and once that changed it, the swelling went away. Weird, but who know. Let me know if you come up with anything. Good Luck, Malah
