My 2-year-old daughter has had four major heart surgeries and, as a result, has trivial leakage in most of her valves. She has no limitations for activity and takes aspirin daily to keep her blood moving well. Her doctors have never indicated that the leakages could cause a heart attack. Heart attacks occur when there's a partial failure of the heart's pumping action, usually due to thrombosis (blockage). I hope this helps. Best of luck to you.
