I suffered with an intense itching problem for over two years that was finally diagnosed as "bullous pemphigoid" after breaking out with blisters. The treatment prescribed was prednisone which cleared up all itching and blisters. But prednisone is considered a very dangerous drug to be taking on a continous basis. Does anyone have this disease but is being treated with a different drug? Thanks for your input.
