hi. i was wondering what exactly your infection IS or where it is... i have a skin disease called Hidrandenitis Suppurativa which is quite common in occurance in people, but for some reason, docs dont seem to know a lot about it. it causes boil-like acne on various areas of the body - groin, inner thigh, buttocks, armpits, breasts(or chest for men) etc. it is treated with anti-biotics but most people get to the stage that they need surgery because anti-biotics only help for a short time in most of the people i have talked to. my case is mild compared to some, but the boils can get very large and deep under the skin or come to the surface right away where they are easily infected. i have also had this on my face and on my upper arms although that is supposedly a rare occurance!!! email me if this is what you think you might have!
