That CPAP drys your nose out. Your nose acts as the heat and humidifier for your upper airway. The air coming from the CPAP machine is dry w/o the humidity. I am not sure about the home units but with the hopsital units we can put humidity through the circuit. Humidity is very important to the functioning of the airway. Talk to your pulmonologist or homecare company about adapting humidity to the set up. Kim
