Hi, you didn't say how old you are, but I'm going to guess that you are premenopausal. Likely you have a condition called mammary gland ectasia which causes the symptoms you relate, as well as being related to age. I had surgery for the same condition about 3 weeks ago now and is the best thing I ever did, after suffering from repeated infections over about 18 months. I was on antibiotics during that time more than I was off. I had 3 areas that were affected so those were removed as well as about 1/4 of the tissue in one breast. Worked wonders for me, and if I were you I would see the doctor again soon. If indeed this is what you have urgent surgery may be needed to prevent loss of tissue that is now healthy.
