I had a LEEP done last September after diagnosis of CIN 1 and CIN 2. It is a pretty easy procedure. First they stick a patch on your leg that has a wire in it and is connected to the machine that does the LEEP. They numb your cervix with a local anesthetic and then use a wire loop that has electricity running through it to cut off the top layer of cells on your cervix. It took only about 5 minutes and I had no pain, just a little discomfort. It hurt to sit for about 24 hours but other than that, I had no problems at all.
