Anemia needs to be followed upon. Make sure she has more blood work afterwards and that they tell you what is causing the anemia. I had anemia off and on since I was 16 never did a doctor tell me to follow up. At 45 was diagnosised with Chronic mylogenic Leukemia. The Doctor told me didn't you ever have a doctor follow up and tell you the cause of your anemia, PLEASE have her follow up and find the cause not just that her blood work is okay after taking iron pills. That is all I did and now I have many regrets.
