Bama
I was diagnosed in 1992 with what is ca lled G.E.R.D. Disease (Gastro Esopogeo Reflux Disease Not spelled right) I am on Zantac 300 mg twice daily. I have to watch what I eat like greasy foods, fried and spicey. I also have to watch not to get upset so easy. If I don't then I have severe heartburn and a hurting under my rib cage all the way to my backbone. I also sleep on three pillows and on my left side. I don't try to overeat and eat smaller portions and try not to get real hungry. It's like having an ulcer but none is there. It is something I will have to live with but it can be maintained if you are careful with what you eat and not get too stressfull. You can usually tell when you done something you shouldn't. The more gases you stir up the more pain and heartburn you will have and then the medicine doesn't work as it should. I hope I have helped you some.
