I think lorazepam is the same as ativan. It's in the same family of drugs as Klonopin, but Klonopin is longer acting (or so says my shrink)! I use to take ativan, but was switched to Klonopin a couple of years ago. It works great. I also take Prozac. Of O were you would I switch as your doctor suggested?? YES!!!
